Ian Chalk, ARB, RIBA
Ian trained in Nottingham Trent and later at the University of Westminster. Prior to setting up ICA he was Associate Director at Orms Architects and led a number of large scale projects, including The Standard Hotel at Camden Town Hall Annexe. He is a member of the Theatres Trust Specialist Advisory Panel, and tutors at The Welsh School of Architecture.
Edward Whiteley, ARB
Edward trained at the University of Sheffield and subsequently worked for several years as a Project Architect at Orms Architects. During this time he led the St Giles Circus project, a large-scale masterplan neat Tottenham Court Road. Edward is currently working on several projects including the refurbishment of the Troxy Theatre and a new timber frame extension of a listed building in Soho.

Giles Wheeldon, ARB
Giles trained at the University of Liverpool and later at the The Cass, London Metropolitan University, and worked for a number of years at Orms Architects. During his time at ICA, Giles has lead a number of projects to completion, including Raine House Community Centre and Chart Street Studios. He tutored at the University of Liverpool since 2019, with Studio Pen and Inc. Giles is currently working on the refurbishment and extension of Cambridge Arts Theatre.

Hannah Penwarden
Hannah completed her Undergraduate Degree at the University of Edinburgh and has recently completed her MArch Postgraduate at The Cass, London Metropolitan University. Hannah has worked for several offices in the UK and The Netherlands, gaining experience on a series of sensitive heritage and cultural projects. At ICA Hannah is currently working on a Cambridge Arts Theatre and a small private house in Cornwall.

Angel joined ICA in 2022 having graduated from the University of Liverpool. During her time at ICA she has worked on a number of projects including Cambridge Arts Theatre and John Ball Sports Hall. She is currently working on the design of a new infill housing scheme in east London

Hanna Kristina
Hanna is currently training at the Bartlett School of Architecture, joining the MSci course in 2020. Her design projects have focused community and residential theme with supporting research on social sustainability. She is completing her Part II placement at Ian Chalk Architects and working 5 Denmark Street and Solander Gardens.
